Pearl A. Dupuis Downs, 88, of North Syracuse, and a resident of the Syracuse area since 1926, passed away Sunday morning. In 1976, she retired from General Electric after over 20 years of service. She wintered for 19 years in Florida and had a summer home on Sandy Pond.
Mrs. Downs was predeceased in March of 1989 by her husband, Richard L., and in September of 2012 by her son, Gary.
Surviving are her children, Richard C. (Patty) Downs of Liverpool, Linda (Peter) Kimball and Renee (Jeff) Badgett, both of Clay; sisters, Pauline Lynch of Cicero and Estelle (Paul) DeLallo of Camillus; sister-in-law, Jean Dupuis of Albany; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Private services will be at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main St., North Syracuse, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
