George Frater Obituary

FRATER, George V., went to be with the Lord May 31, 2011. He was born in Wild Rose, Wis. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1950, and was stationed at MacDill, later earning Master of Science, Master of Arts and Education Specialist degrees. Active in creation science studies, he wrote the book "Our Humanist Heritage" and enjoyed writing poetry. His friends knew him for his devotion to God, offbeat sense of humor, and a fondness for Cubbies and Packers. He is survived by his wife Betsy; children, Amanda, Mark and Roger (Jesslyn); grandchildren, Autumn, Austin, Betsy, Tory and Theo; and brothers, Frederick Frater (Virginia) and Willard Frater (Cathy). Memorial service will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at Fellowship Bible Church, 11505 E.Broadway, Mango FL 33550. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Institute for Creation Research, 1 (800) 337-0375.
