Robert J. Marentette, Jr
MILLBURY - Robert J. Marentette Jr., 55, as of July 15, 2012 is no longer fighting his 5 year battle against cancer.
He was born July 29, 1956 at Fort Deven's in Shirley, MA. Robert served 3 years in the U.S. Army leaving with an Honorable Discharge. He worked for Lincoln Precision Machining Co in N. Grafton, MPH in Millbury and the Northborough Post Office. Robert was a member of St. Brigid Church. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots. Most of all Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends who he cared for deeply. He was a wonderful husband and proud father & grandpa.
Robert leaves his loving wife of 34 years, Mary Jane (Castonguay) Marentette, a daughter, Kimberly (Marentette) Mathieu and a grandson, Kyle Mathieu (all of Millbury). He leaves his three sisters, Carol Hilla, Debby Richard, Cindy Dailey and his brother, Michael Marentette and his wife, Debbie; several nieces and nephews (all from Michigan). Robert will now watch over us from Heaven alongside his father, Robert J. Marentette and his mother, Florence P. (Dunn) Marentette. The family would like to thank Holy Trinity Hospice for their support and to family and friends for all the love, prayers and kind gestures.
Roberts' funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 18th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St., in Millbury. He will then be laid to rest at St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 17th from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
