Your mom was a special and talented lady. As a child I enjoyed standing beside her and watching her play the organ. I was honored she played at my wedding. She and my dad played the crossword puzzle by phone and my mother cherished their friendship. I will miss your mom, she was a grand lady, someone I always looked up to. My love and prayers go out to you. May your sweet memories bring your comfort.

Sorry I could not attend the service. My father was pastor at Denton's during WWII. I remember being in the Campbell house often as a child. I stayed with them when my little sister was born- I remember the electric train and airplane models upstairs. I preach at Denton's occasionally and saw Doris just a few years ago. You come from a great family!

I am so sad to hear this news, Doris was a delightful person who I enjoyed working with at the Board of Discipleship/Upper Room. She always talked about her family, whom she loved dearly. May God comfort you during this dark hour, but know she will always live in your heart.
