Michael Bodulow, 75, passed away Monday morning, Dec. 17, 2012.
Born in Russia, he came to the United States in 1950 at the age of 13. Mike and Luba met in St. Nicholas Church in Millville. He was Luba's best friend, companion and husband of 57 years. Mike was a very active member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Millville and Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Vineland. He was a founding member and trustee of the Russian American Club. He loved his Russian heritage and traditions. He loved to play dominoes and cards with all his friends. He was predeceased by his son Victor Bodulow. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who treasured his family. He loved to travel with his family and returned to his native land, Russia, many times. He will be missed by all of his family but will never be forgotten.
Michael is survived by his wife of 57 years, Luba; four children, Larisa Ferguson and her husband Steven of Katy, Texas, Michael Bodulow and his wife Sue of Petaluma, Calif., Irene Inferrera and her husband Dean of Millville, and John Bodulow of Millville; seven grandchildren, Danielle Tschebotarjew and her husband Ivan of Texas; Douglas Inferrera and his wife Jen of Millville; Colleen Vetters and husband James of Texas; Dana Inferrera of Millville, Steven Ferguson of California, Michael Bodulow and Alex Bodulow of Petaluma, Calif.; and five great-grandchildren, Bethany Vetters, Julianna Inferrera, Henry Vetters, Katelin Robertson and Varya Tschebotarjew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral on Wednesday and Thursday. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. with Panahyda at 7 p.m. in the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main St., Millville. There will be a funeral service at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 129 S. 5th Street, Millville. Burial will follow in New Kuban Cemetery.
The family request, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Victor Bodulow Foundation, 607 Doris Ave., Millville, NJ 08332.
