Toyoko Macri Obituary

Toyoko Tojo "Terry" Macri
Dec. 7, 1924 - Sept. 8, 2017
92 years, Toyoko Macri passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was married to Joseph L. Macri, Sr. for 57 years. They were married in the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, Japan and later honeymooned in Cuba. Upon returning to the United States, they resided in Stamford, CT and then moved to Norwalk in 1956, where she lived for 52 years. Toyoko traveled the world with her family and loved being involved with St. Joseph's Church. She also was very artistically talented. Toyoko was predeceased by her husband Joseph Sr. and son James. She is survived by son Joseph Jr. and wife Donna, daughter in-law Linda, grandchildren, Lindsay, Stephen, Robert and Taylor. Also, her sister Setsuko Lamake of Rhode Island and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private for the immediate family.
