Shirley May Arsenault, age 81 years of Clarksville, formerly of Ellsworth, Maine, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at Memorial Baptist Church, 2450 Highway 48, Clarksville, TN 37040 at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017. There will be time of fellowship following the memorial service. Shirley will be laid to rest at Plyes Cemetery, Mariaville, Maine at a later date.
Shirley was born on August 15, 1935 in Old Town, Maine, the daughter of the late Alphonse J. and Edna S. Seymour. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Edward L. Arsenault; son, Leo Edward Arsenault; sisters, Theresa Andrews, Patricia Archer, and Gloria Amero; brothers, Alfred Seymour, Lawrence Seymour, and Ronald Seymour.
Survivors include her children, Sandra A. Lewis (ex spouse, Henry) Linda M. Daigle (Ken), Patti Robertson (Kenny), Paul Arsenault (ex spouse, Beverly), Nancy Morris (ex spouse, Stephen), and Jean Flynn (Joe); sister, Barbara Merchant; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Baptist Church or to your favorite charity.

To Sandra, Jean, and the rest of the family, I was saddened to hear the news of Shirley's passing and my condolences and heartfelt prayers go out to you at this time. Shirley is a sweet good hearted woman and I enjoyed the conversations that I have had with her through the years. I pray that you all will focus on the many good memories and celebrate her life.
