John Tillery Obituary
Truck Driver
LAKELAND - John "Buddy" Tillery, 60, died December 6, 2010 at his home due to heart failure.
Mr. Tillery was born March 12, 1950 and was a lifetime resident of Lakeland. He worked in the Food Service Industry as a Truck Driver and enjoyed fishing, cooking, spending time with grandchildren and life in general.
He is survived by daughters Janie (Cory) Scott, Rose (Steve) Young, Dianna (Scott) LeVasseur, all of Lakeland; brothers Delton Tillery, Pennsylvania, Dale Marvin Tillery, Lakeland; sisters Rose Bush, Elizabeth Messer, both of Lakeland; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 9 at 11 am with a visitation from 10-11 at Heath Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family at:

I worked with Buddy at Swift / Mapelli Brothers . He was a really honest , down to earth great guy and I'm sorry to see that he passed , long ago. Sorry I'm late here, but to his friends and family you have my sincere condolenses.

Buddy was a very good man. He was like a second Dad to me,when me and Betsy was younger.He paid for me to go to disney world with Betsy couse he new i had never been there.I know how much Betsy loved her Daddy,She would be so upset when she thought her dad was mad at her,God bless him .I dont know how he managed me and Betsy's partying.We was very thankfull for him. I love you betsy and im praying for you to ease your sorrow.Rest in peace Buddy.

You were my Father and my very Best Friend!!! I loved caring for you it was a pleasure and a honor...I could have never asked for a better Father...I will miss you like crazy and think of you daily but, I know your happy and no more pain...I walk in that house still looking for you to be sitting there waiting for me to get home from work thats the harest part not seeing you everyday...But, I will see you again....{I PROMISE}
