Ringle, Thomas Jay Sr.; age 54; of Ithaca, MI, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016, at Lakeland Community Hospital, Watervliet, MI. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 2 to 8 p.m. with family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI. Tom was born on February 20, 1962 in Carson City, MI to Fredrick and Shirley (Saylor) Ringle. He graduated from Ashley High School with the class of 1980. Tom delivered newspapers for the Weekly, Alma and St. Johns Reminder, and the Morning Sun. Tom enjoyed going to the races with his brother Chris. He loved his dog Boots and took him everywhere he went. He loved hauling his family around in his covered wagon, in parades and on holidays. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren; he loved them all very much. He is survived by his children; Angela Steele of Owosso, MI, Thomas Jr. and Angel Ringle of Onekama, MI, Krystal and Charles Taylor of Perrinton, MI, Amy (Joe) Ringle of St. Johns, MI, Michelle and Matt Criner of Elsie, MI, 12 grandchildren; parents Fredrick and Shirley Ringle of Ithaca, MI, siblings; Jody and Chas Yelsik, of Ashley, MI, Jeff and Vivian Ringle of Harrison, MI, Pam and Mark Torres of Lansing, MI, Greg and Laurie Ringle of Elsie, MI, Chris and Denise Ringle of Ithaca, MI, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
