Paul was born June 4, 1941, in Tatum, Texas, the son of Orville and Hazel (McCarron) Driver.

He married Janet Daniels in 1962 in Texas; they were blessed with three children. In 1984, he married Jean Robertson. Both ladies survive.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Shelley Hammer and her four children; son, Derrell and Dianne Driver and their two children; son, Philip and Amy Driver and their three children; and stepdaughter, Laura and William Davidson and their child.

He is also survived by his special friends, Charlene Martin (adopted mother) and her daughter, Marie Clements, whom he loved like a sister.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Milton; half sisters, Bertha and Carol; and grandparents, Pearl and Frank Driver, who raised him and his brother after their mother's death at a young age.

Paul spent his life working as a salesman and spent his free time as a fisherman. He loved being outside and always had a garden so that he could share produce with his neighbors and many friends.

He was an active member of Arnold View Freewill Baptist Church in Crab Orchard and never tired of going on visitation and winning souls for the Lord. He never hesitated to share his opinions and knowledge with anyone who asked. He never met a stranger.
