Laurence DOYLE

November 17, 1932 - April 19, 2015

Died peacefully at the age of 82, surrounded by his family. He was a loving husband to Jane and a wonderful father to Christopher (Sarah), Mary-Anne (David), Siobhan (Peter) and Marie-Claire (Carson). Pappa Grumps will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Emma, Caleb, Alyssa, Grayson, Carter, Cian and Regan and all of his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Liverpool. He lived life to the fullest, valued his many friends from around the world and always looked forward to his next rugby game. He was a passionate member of the Burlington, Montreal Irish and Town of Mount Royal Rugby Clubs, the Burlington Welsh Male Choir and a great supporter of the Liverpool FC. He will be deeply missed by so many friends and family for his love of life and genuine love for all those he was fortunate enough to have met along the way - "You'll never walk alone".

Dear Larry, one of the finest gentlemen Don and I ever knew. I never imagined that my darling Don would be followed so soon by one of his dearest friends. Richard and
I think of them singing together in the Lord's Heavenly choir. Or that Jane and I would share the awful grief that engulfs at the realisation that we face a world that no longer has our life partner in it. No one to share special things with. Memories of happy days can help. Deepest sympathy to Jane and the Doyle family. Love the pic of Larry with the wine. We will never forget the Boxing day parties.

Larry was a dear friend but to me he was more like a favourite uncle and I miss him. He introduced me to the Rugby community in Halton and inspired me with his humour, wisdom and constant enthusiasm for life, He even reminded me why Liverpool FC was the only English Football worth supporting. God Bless you Larry you were a great man and an even better friend. Those of us whose lives you touched are much the richer for it. RIP -Your friend Desmond
