William Nance Obituary
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Sharon Westbrooks Nance, who survives and the son of the late William Hardin Nance and Carolyn McPherson Nance, who survives. He formerly worked as a fixer for a hosiery mill.
In addition to his wife of the home and mother of Graham, survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Nance and fiancé, Philip Simpson of Graham and Kristin Nance and fiancé Brian Whitesell of Snow Camp; three grandchildren, Kaylynn Whitesell, Braylon Nance and Hayden Simpson; sister, Bobbie Lynch and husband Robert of Fuquay-Varina; brother, Mike Stanley and wife Gayle of Snow Camp; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Nance and Tony Nance.
A graveside service will be conducted at Antioch Baptist Church cemetery on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. David Neff.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of the daughter, Kristin Nance, 2403 Paine Drive, Snow Camp, N.C.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, Va. 23058-5216.
