CONNER, Ruth Craddock, 78, formerly of Richmond, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, in Yanceyville, N.C. She was married to Herbert A. Conner who predeceased her in 1989. She is survived by a son, James Conner and his wife, Angela, of St. Michaels, Arizona; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a brother. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Townes Funeral Home, 215 West Main St., Danville, Va., is serving the Conner family.
