Alice Dodson

DODSON, Alice Christine, 77, of Wicomico Church, Va., passed away on January 1, 2011. She was a furniture upholsterer. Alice was a member of Wicomico United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Dodson Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Terri D. Stokes and husband, Aubrey, of Wicomico Church, Va.; son, Joseph W. Dodson Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Aylett, Va.; sister, Louise H. Burgess and husband, Robert, of Lottsburg, Va.; brother, Robert M. Headley and wife, Mary Betty, of Emmerton, Va.; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Jones-Ash Funeral Home, Rainswood, Va., on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Jones-Ash Funeral Home on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church.
