I have thought of Barbara many, many times over the years. She was my first "boss". She hired me in Dec. 1971 in the Ashland Best Products JDC. She became more than a supervisor... she became a mentor and a friend. She loved her family dearly and stories of them were part of our day. I was 19 years old but could never keep up with her stride (and she had on high-heels). I still keep her family in prayer and cherish fond memories of her. "...oh, for the touch of a vanished hand and the sound of a voice that is still."

I miss you every day but on Mother's day I am reminded of what a loving, fun and protective mother you were. Your children miss you and love you. For me, I love you like a mother, Barbara, and could not have asked for a better mother-in-law. Thank you for choosing to be a mom so that I could spend my life with your fabulous son! XOXO

Barbara, it doesn't seem like 5 years, but I know you are still handling things above. Missing our little conversations, on your birthday and holidays, so know that you are gone but never forgotten.

My dearest Barbars, 5 years and I still miss you like crazy. What I wouldn't give to sit and talk with you...

Barbara, I can't believe a year has passed almost. I have truly missed those awsome talks we use to have, you were always there with a listening ear when I needed u. I have been checking up on your family periodically, and everyone is doing fine. Truly, missing my special friend, expecially this time of year.

What a beautiful photo of Barbara! She looks just as I remember her from so many years ago. I echo the sentiments of others, she was a vibrant person who loved life and everyone around her. Our condolences to the family who have been in our thoughts and prayers.

Sandy,Cricket,Windy,Joan,Kenneth and family time will ease the pain and memories will fulfill the void. I recalled Barbara racing down the Blvd across the $.05 Bridge (5x's a $.05 now)in her big green Olds. Joe and Barbara were like Ken and Barbie, so in love and soooo jealous of each other. Barbara gave me some "words of wisdom" when I was a teenager that I have repeated many a time to my girls and other females. She and Auntie were as different as night and day, but she stood up for her siblings. Sandy, your husband and I agree, Barbara didn't hold back, "if she thought it, she said it." Thougths and Prayers are with you

This was such sad news. I worked with Barbara at Best Products for many years. She was certainly a wonderful person and indeed had a zest for life. I know she will indeed be truly missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Paula Stanley (Glen Allen Va)

To Ms. Morris' Family,
I was so very saddened by the loss of Ms. Morris. I work at MRMC where she was a patient. She was such a sweet woman. And had a loving family. I carried her food trays. I was so thrilled when she got out of CCU. Really hit me losing her. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. All of us at MRMC are thinking of you all. Such a great loss to all of you. My heart goes out to each of you.
May God Bless you all in the New Year.
My sincere sympathy,
Nancy

TO SANDY, WENDY, CRICKET, JOAN AND THE ENTIRE MORRIS/BROWN FAMILY. MY HEART WAS TRULY SADDEN TO LEARN OF YOUR MOTHERS PASSING. I MET BARBARA APPX. 30 + YEARS AGO WHEN I WORKED AT BEST PRODUCTS. SHE BECAME MY SUPERVISOR, BUT FIRST AND FOREMOST SHE BECAME A FRIEND TO ME. AFTER LEAVING BEST PRODUCTS, BARBARA AND I CONSTANTLY KEPT IN TOUCH. SHE HAD A VIBRANT PERSONALITY, AND WOULD GIVE A HELPING HAND TO ANYONE. FAMILY, I CAN'T SAY I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL, I CAN SAY I HAVE BEEN THERE. THE DAYS AHEAD MAYBE ROUGH BUT AS THOSE DAYS OCCUR PUT YOUR HANDS IN GODS HANDS FOR HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH. FAMILY CHERRISH THE MEMORIES THAT YOU SHARED, FOR BARBARA RAN A GOOD RACE.... SHE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT.. WELL DONE THEY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. GOD NEEDED ANOTHER ANGEL, AND HE COULDN'T HAVE SELECTED A BETTER ONE. KNOW THAT GOD GIVES YOU KNOW MORE HE FEELS YOU CAN BARE, FOR WEEPING WILL ENDURE FOR AN EVENING BUT JOYETH WILL COME IN THE MORNING.
