Brian,
Happy journeys, friend. Knew you online and shared a lot of gaming with you. You were what I wanted to be: reasonable, thoughtful, and measured. The comments everyone says over and over about you are, "class act," and "gentleman." So true, all of it.
You will be sorely missed and always remembered. Rest in peace, bro.

We were so sad to hear about Brian. He was a great guy. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I knew Brian through his roleplaying in the late 90s. A class act, always.

I am deeply saddened by this news. Brian was such a sweet guy and I won't forget how respectful he was and how comfortable I felt around him.

All I can do is second what so many have already said. Brian helped introduce me to online Role Playing. He set the bar for what a quality writer, a quality story-teller, and a quality player should be. Even more than that, though, he was a good friend. He was a good person. I simply wish I'd been able to know him better, or had more time..

A storyteller who taught me how to tell stories, who changed my life in so many good ways, and one of my first - and longest-standing - friends from my time in Virginia. Good night Purry.

Even though folks got me confused with him all the time, I always thought he was a class act. RIP Brian, I hope you're playing a ton of games up in Heaven. :)

I was honored and privileged to have had this gifted storyteller sharing the original evolving OtherSpace story back in 1998. Stunned to hear he's gone. I'll miss talking RP theory with him and sharing war stories. Best to his family.

One of the most wonderful people I knew on-line. This is a true loss to society as he was one of the "good guys" in cyberspace and for this country.
Brian, you are missed.

I was fortunate enough to meet Brian through his job with Lantagne. He was such a wonderfully spirited person and would always bring a smile to my face. I still think you look like Tom Petty, Brian :) rest in peace.

You will be missed, Brian. I wish I had spent some time in recent years with you, but life gets in the way and you think you will always have tomorrow. Rest in peace, my friend and thanks for letting e play Pirates on your comp all those years ago. Still a great memory.

Brian was my favorite person to argue with. He was a great person to have with when seeing a band (like The Flood). There isn't a Replacements song that doesn't remind me of him. Rest in peace, chum!

Brian was a good man and a good friend. My life was better for having known him and I am very, very lucky to have had the chance to call him friend. Go explore, Brian- you were born to do that.
