Catherine Swoap Obituary

SWOAP, Catherine Dehart, 83, of Richmond, passed away February 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, G.J. "Buddy" Swoap; and three brothers. She is survived by a daughter, Bonita Bailey and husband, Damon; son, Dennis W. Swoap and wife, Wanda; granddaughters, Becky Newman and husband, Steve and Nicole Swoap-Mullins and husband, Jason; great-granddaughters, Katy, Angie and Jessie; great-great-granddaughter, Lana; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all. She was a faithful member of the Winterpock Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 50 years. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel-Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road. A graveside service will be held Sunday, February 21, at 11 a.m. at Dale Memorial Park.
