Mom,
This is my first birthday without you. I woke up this morning longing to hear my birthday song. How I miss your sense of humor, your playful laughs and tickles on my neck when you give me my birthday kisses. Yes, right now it is still so painful to know that those playful moments with you are no more, but my memories of the the most wonderful mother will last me a lifetime. My angel rest knowing that your legacy will not be forgotten.

From the first time i layed eyes on you, I knew there was something special about you. You hide them well but not from me because I knew what others couldn't see. Hey aunt Daisy, we are gonna truly miss you. I'm happy that you were able to go in peace knowing that ALL the family were with you and by your side in your last days. We may not be the perfect family but the one thing we know how to do is come together and be there for each other when needed. I know when you left, you were happy because you went out knowing you were loved by so many. I'm glad you were my aunt, you was a tough cookie but I'm glad. I'm gonna really miss your cooking. You can still keep us in check by looking down on us from time to time. You take care of my baby until I get there and know that we all love you and missing you already.
