VANDERGRIFT, Daniel M., 82, of Mechanicsville, passed away January 25, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred M. Vandergrift; and his granddaughter, Rachel Snyder. He is survived by his daughters, Gerri Taylor and Vicki Gilbert; stepdaughter, Sheila Snyder and her husband, Danny; grandchildren, Jennifer Grattan (Mike), Tori Seay, Travis Gilbert, and Dustin Gilbert; great- grandchildren, Kylee and Makayla Grattan. Private graveside services will be held at Washington Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the American Heat Association or the Leukemia Society.
