DICKERSON, Doris Talley, 95, of Richmond, passed away November 16, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dickerson. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Castlebury; her son, Myron Dickerson and his wife, Betty Jo; 11 grandchildren, Patricia Lane, Cynthia Bradshaw, Sarah Bryant, James Campbell, Ronald Castlebury, Gerald Castlebury, Gregory Castlebury, Jeffrey Castlebury, Joanna Elson, Elizabeth Henderson and Paul Dickerson; 28 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Alma Dix and Ethel McBride. Doris was retired from DuPont and was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. Her family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment Dale Memorial Park.

Doris was much loved and respected co-worker of mine at Dupont for many years. I have so many wonderful memories of her bubbling personality and also of her Sister, Claudia Russell. They both made our hours at work fly by.
