BERRY, Elizabeth H., 92, of Richmond, widow of W. Malcolm Berry, died November 16, 2009. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean P. Harris; and two sons, David R. Hill and Michael H. Hill. After her retirement from teaching, she volunteered at Elizabeth Adam Crump Manor for 22 years, drove for Meals on Wheels, read current events for the blind; and mentored students one-on-one as part of an adult literacy program. A talented musician, she sang and played piano for sing-a-longs at area nursing homes and churches and at Imperial Plaza, where she lived for a number of years before moving to the Laurels of Bon Air. Mrs. Berry was a longtime member of Overbrook Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir and played handbells. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 21 at 1 p.m. at the church at 2605 Dumbarton Road, Richmond.

She was such a doll, especially with her colorful scarves she wore.
I am happy that she came into my life, tho for not very long.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
