My Dearest Cousin...our memories travel far. I thank God that you knew my love for you as a very young child and even as a senior adult. You never remembered the purse you bought me when you were in nursing school, with the gold clasp, the white background covered in tiny pink roses but you somehow managed to send me an album in much later years of the same description. How I loved you, how I know I will see you again. Much love,
Ethel.

Ethelyn was my Department Chair when I joined the faculty at VCU in 1992. Our family knew another side of Ethelyn through Thomas' grade school and Cub Scout activities. What a wonderful, vibrant woman! Our sympathies to the family- and Thomas, we are especially thinking of you at this difficult time. Cindy Munro, Brett Stevenson, and Joseph Stevenson
