To Evelyn's Family,
I would like to express my family's sympathy on Evelyn's death. She was a teller at the River Road Branch of First & Merchants bank when we first came to Richmond in 1975, and it was always a pleasure to go in and see her. We also saw her at the Bank once it first became Sovran and then Bank of America. I remember her shared devotion in looking after her mother each winter. After her retirement she became a member of The Commonwealth Woman's Club of which I am also a member. She served as Treasurer for the Club and I was able to continue my friendship with her. I was much saddened when she had to give up her membership of the Club, and I will miss her very much indeed. A lovely lady.
Sincerely, Maggie and David North and family.

Evelyn and I worked together at the River Road branch of the bank. She helped her mom bake the most delicious apple pies each year for my birthday. She was a lovely lady, and my husband and I will greatly miss her.
