Finis A. "Bobby" Stembridge

STEMBRIDGE, Finis A. "Bobby," left to meet his Lord on March 27, 2010. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army Air Force. He was a retired Meter Technician for Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative. He is survived by his wife, Katherine A. Stembridge of Chase City, Virginia; one son, A. Michael Stembridge and wife, Margo Stembridge, of Clarksville, Virginia; one daughter, Kathy S. Purdy and husband, Jim Purdy, of Eden, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Andy Stembridge, Meagan Alford, Kristopher Purdy and Krystal Parker; three great-grandchildren, Quintin Stembridge, Racheal Stembridge and Cadon Alford; and one sister, Nancy Davis. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Finis and Cora Stembridge; and his siblings, Johnny Stembridge, Marian Thorpe and Carolyn Jones. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 29, 2010 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Bethel Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
