Swoap family,
He was one of the nicest men you could ever meet. I remember playing chess with him and though I don't remember trying to cheat, I probably did since I have no idea today how to play. I will remember his love for his family and how no matter what he always had a smile and kind words for you. I love you all.

Nikki, Jason, Dennis, Wanda:

Luke and I are very sorry for your loss of such a wonderful father and grandfather. We know that "tall stuff" meant so much to you and was so close to your hearts, but just remember that he will always be there. Luke and I both know that it is very hard to lose someone close to you but with the love of family and friends around you, you will get through this. Our thoughts are with you as you go through this hard time in life and we will do anything in this world to make this easier. Though we did not know "Buddy" very long, we know how important and how much he meant to you and that means the world to us. We love hearing all of the wonderful stories that you have to tell about him and are sure that there will be many more to come. Just know that from the bottom of our hearts we love you all very much and would do anything in this world for you and you will get through this one day at a time.

To the entire Swoap family,
As my Uncle, Buddy was one of the most fascinating people I knew and have known. Always a fount of information, memories & stories.
I remember, when I was much younger, coming to Buddy & Kitty's for a family reunion. We played horse-shoes in the backyard, being careful not to mess up Aunt Kitty's roses :)
His laughter was contagious as was his generosity. There will never be another, but the one we had was precious and will live on in our hearts and families for generations to come.
You're in our prayers. We love you all!

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Swoap. For much of my childhood, he was our next door neighbor and such a good neighbor and friend to our family. After I moved away, I would always look over to see if he was in the yard when I visited my mom. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
