HAROLD BLOOM Obituary

BLOOM, Harold Thomas, passed away peacefully at his home November 14, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen W. "Lynn" Bloom; his son, Mark M. Bloom; and his beloved grandsons, Eric and Trey. He was predeceased by his eldest son, H. Thomas Bloom II. Hal was born October 12, 1930. He graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., and was a Korean War veteran. Hal was a member of Mill Quarter and loved playing golf with his friends. Services will be held Saturday, November 20 at 10 a.m. at Bon Air United Methodist Church, 1645 Buford Road, Richmond, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Virginia, 7231 Forest Avenue, Suite 100, Richmond, Va. 23226 would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses, caregivers, family and friends for their love and support.
