Helen DuBois Bartlam

BARTLAM, Helen DuBois, daughter of Count Stanley John DuBois and Winifred Eastgate DuBois, passed away Monday, November 16, 2009, due to complications from cataract surgery. She is survived by her son, Roy, and wife, Cheryl; daughter, Cheryl; grandchildren, Candice and Christopher Bartlam; and her beloved, Ike Weinstein. Helen lost her husband, Lee Clinton Bartlam, of 58 years in 1999. Helen lost her sister, Irene and brother, Gordon, at an early age. She grew up and lived in Highland Springs and the surrounding areas most of her life. She was a talented noted dancer and singer as a young girl at the Mosque Theater. Helen's favorite hobbies in recent years were bowling, traveling and dancing. Helen was a devoted and loving mother and wife, and she leaves behind her unforgettable love and legacy to her children, grandchildren, and friends. A graveside service will be held 12 noon Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Va., followed by fellowship at a location to be announced after the service.
