I was a classmate of Jim's at Fordham University. I saw him from time to time in New York after graduation. He was a great guy and good friend. I had lost touch of him and saw the obituary in the Fordham Magazine. My deepest sympathies to the entire family. Louis Tallarini

I was so sorry to recently learn of the loss of your husband. He was such a caring, kind person to his clients such as I. I know from personal experience how difficult it may seem as I lost my husband unexpectedly 7 years ago. It helped me so to lean on God, family and friends. They will help so much as will time. God bless and keep you,

Linda Hurt

How sad to receive the letter yesterday informing me of Jim's passing. In addition to being a client for 25+ years I also knew Jim for the pro bono work he did for Piedmont Search and Rescue, a volunteer group based in Richmond that assists with missing person incidents throughout VA. Jim will be misssed.

Joan, Jamie and Erin: Our family's heartfelt condolences on Jim's passing. The short time that we knew him, he made it clear that he lived for his family, and his family was his life. Be strong; be brave; and make Jim proud. Taking care of each other is what he would've have loved and expected. I tip my libations' glass to a wonderful fellow...,One whiskey, one scotch... Godspeed in your healing.
