I am yet another Hallson's forum friend. I am very sad to learn of Janet's passing; she was always so upbeat and friendly, and a help to any and all who asked for advice, gardening and otherwise. We've just now learned of her passing, and as I see from all the other entries, I am among many who will miss her. Janet was the first person to welcome me to the Hallson forum, sending me a cheerful message to say her name was also Janet and how glad she was that I was there. We learned we had much more than a name in common and I will miss her always. Janet touched the lives and the hearts of people she never met and we will not forget her.

Janet was a very special person, and everyone who 'met' her on the Hallson forum knew they had a friend for life.
I am so saddened to hear of her passing. I, too, have a hosta Janet planted in my garden, and I always think of her when I look at it.
She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

I too only met her on the Hallson garden forum. Janet was one of the members who helped and encouraged me in growing hostas when I joined 8 years ago.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Janet's family.. She was truly a special person.. I am also a friend from Hallson's forum.. and I met Janet only on-line..she gave me great comfort when my sister also (GreenNatureLady,Brenda)from Hallson's, passed awaya few years ago.. and I still have the hosta she sent me...Janet.. planted right next to Brenda's Beauty..

I , also, knew Janet from the Hallson gardening forum. She was such a lovely woman who had a way with words. She was so kind , gentle, and understanding. She has been missed greatly by those of us who she befriended. May she rest in peace and my sympathies go out to her family.

Janet was a dear friend of mine, though we never met in person. We met on a gardening forum and had a close electronic relationship. I like to think I entertained her and made her laugh while she encouraged me in my writing. I am bereft...

Condolences go out to Janet's family and are being sent from a friend in the PNW where the hostas that Janet shared will grow on in her memory. She will be missed and those of us at the Hallson Garden forum are just now learning of her passing. She inspired many of us there. I am so lost for words in finding she is now tending the Lord's special garden.

Wow, I am so saddened to hear of Janets passing.....Joe, if you read this, know that she had a big group of friends at Hallson's gardening forum.....she took me under her wing and was a great friend.....I am sooooo sad to hear this....she was the most kindest, loving, person......I have been trying to call her for months....I have hostas from her that are so special to me.....*crying*.....She loved your boys so much......May she rest in peace! Janet was one of my very dearest friends throughout high school. We spent many hours just "hanging out". She and her family will always be in my heart. She was a remarkable person and will be dearly missed..
