K. MORRISON Obituary

MORRISON, K. Gordon, was born on March 12, 1958 in Paisley, Scotland. Gordon died on September 30, 2009 at his home in Rockville, Virginia. Gordon is survived by his wife of 22 years, Carolyn Hammond Morrison; his parents, Ivan and Elizabeth Morrison; three sisters, Lesley, Christine and Beverly; three brothers-in-law, Vince, Jonathan and Feridon; two nephews, Kyle and Ian; one niece, Kara; one sister-in-law, Joan; along with a large extended family in Canada and the UK. Gordon worked for Crown BMW for 16 years, developing many friendships during that time. Gordon loved his job and the people he worked with. Gordon also developed many close relationships inside the worldwide brotherhood of Jehovah's Witnesses. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on October 10, 2009 at the Ashland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 14048 Greenwood Church Road, Ashland, Virginia 23005. Flowers may be sent to Gordon's home address.

Gordon was a good man and a loyal friend. He inspired me in many ways, not the least of which was to travel to Europe. He was honest, fair, and intelligent. All of those he touched were enriched by his friendship. I will miss our friend.
