Coach Kirk was my field hockey coach at Trinity Episcopal High School in the 1970s. She was fair and a wonderful leader. She was positive and supportive. I will always remember her Vince Lombardi lessons. She was a young woman when she came to coach our field hockey team and I thought the world of her. She was also fast as lightening and very athletic. She loved field hockey and made us all feel that passion. I am so sad to learn of her death. So many memories come to mind. God bless you and your family.

I just heard about Kathy's passing. One of my dear friends who always gave much from her heart. We were friends in YWAM Scotland and experienced many adventures which helped us grow into godly women. Kathy's presence will be missed but she will always be remembered.

I enjoyed Kathy's visits to just say "hi" and catch up. She was a sweetheart. May God give his strength to Mr and Mrs Kirk. The Ukrop's (Martin's) Pharmacy at Stratford Hills

I was able to reconnect with Kathy at the TJ reunion in 2008. She was a sweet low-key personality who was steady and true. Thank you, Kathy, for the calm countenance that surrounded you. It made others feel stronger for knowing you.

I was so deeply saddened to hear of Kathy's passing. She and I had stayed in touch since WC graduation. We had spent time together at Christmas with her attempting to help with some errands. We were truly believing for her healing. Although we grieve her loss, we know that she is made whole and with Jesus now.
Please know that we are praying for you, Fleet and Mr. Kirk and families. May God comfort your hearts with the wonderful memories of your sister and daughter.
God bless you!

Fleet,
I was very sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. During my time at St. Giles she was one that had very positive influence on my decisions to get involved in the church’s outreach mission efforts. Though I was involved in but a few short term missions, that time greatly impacted my life. As I remember that time, I always remember Kathy’s input. My deepest sympathies for your loss, comforted only by knowing that she is now home with her greater family.
Sincere Symphony,

Dear all,
My most heart-felt sympathy upon the loss of your precious Kathy. Her smiling countenance will always be remembered by all of us classmates from the Westhamtpon (UR) Class of '72. Her faith, supportive friendship, and amazing attitude in hard times will encourage each of us to carry on in our lives despite any trials we may face. Thank you for sharing her with us all these years.
Blessings to all of you and my most sincere condolences at this very sad time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember well the good times growing up on Handy Lane/Old Mill Road; for some reason, I continue to return in my mind to a photo of Kathy, Susan Ray, and me with my cat, Bo Rascal, in a baby carriage. We had dressed him in doll clothes. You could tell from his expression that he was none too pleased (actually, he looks mortified), but we three girls were clearly thrilled! This photo encapsulates what I believe was a truly joyful childhood for Kathy. Although she and I lost touch over the years, I know that she had a tremendously strong and abiding faith and that she was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Mother joins me in sending sincere condolences to the entire Kirk family. It is unbelievable that you have lost both Bruce and Kathy at such young ages and so close in time.

So sad! Kathy was a person of strong faith and long term commitment to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! She played each hand that she was dealt to the best of her ability. Now, even though much too early in our worldly view, she has gone on to reap the greatest reward that we has Christians can hope to achieve...eternal life with
the Father forever. Well done Kathy!

I am so sorry to hear about Miss Kirk. I knew her from Trinity Episcopal School, where she was my field hockey coach. She was such a wonderful coach and person. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
