Irene and Jimmy,
I was so sorry to hear of Lorene's passing. My deepest sympathy goes out to both of you and your family. I can't imagine how much she will be missed but there definitely is a "new angel" in heaven. I have some wonderful memories of "the twins" and their kind and friendly ways with everyone at the telephone company. I have always thought of "the twins" as two of the "most classy" women I have ever known. May God bless you, Irene, for all the love, devotion and caregiving you gave your sister.

December 27, 2010

Our deepest sympathy, Jimmy and Irene, in your great loss of your wife and your sister. May God strengthen you during this difficult time and may the beautiful memories of Lorene you hold in your heart be a source of comfort in the days ahead.

Jimmy,
Although our paths have not crossed for many years, I will always remember you as one of the best and most influential Supervisors I ever had while working on the testboard at C & P. I'll always remember standind at the gravesite of my Dad in 1976 after his funeral and when I looked up, you were standing there. That has always, and always will, be remembered and appreciated. It is with great sympathy and respect for one of C & P's finest that I offer my sincere condolences to you during your loss.

Lorene, we worked together for 25 years. You and Irene were always so professional. You (the Twins) were icons for our company. I remember when you came to work one day barely able to walk with pneumonia. We begged you to go home, to no avail. The Company and its work ethics meant that much to you. I admired you, I liked you and I respected you. "May Our Heavenly Father hold you in the palm of his hand".

•Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy and are now watching over both of you, Jimmy and Irene, as the two of you looked over her. I join with the members of Chamberlayne United Methodist Church in praising Lorene for all her dedication to the many programs of our church. She will be missed and loved by many.

We owe our marriage and our family to Lorene and her sister Irene who introduced us 47 yrs. ago and for that we are forever grateful. She was a very giving person, always thinking of others before herself. What a beautiful heart of compassion she always had. She will be greatly missed but I know heaven has welcomed her with open arms and we will be reunited again one day soon. Beverly & Ed Beck

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Lorene was such a vacation to be around. Worked with her at Bell Atlantic for many years and she was the same every day. That's a hard thing for most people to do, but for Lorene it was effortless and truly genuine. She leaves fond memories to all that were lucky enough to come in contact with her.
