I like to believe that when we lose someone close to us they still live through us and give us strength. The time we have spent with those we've lost makes them part of us.

My Condolences to the Family. Lucille was such an inspiration and she mentored me and encouraged me to become President of the Richmond PTA Council, I asked Delaware about her whenever I would see him. I wish I could share in her homegoing services, but,it is ironic that my husband, Roland Brooks is listed in this obituary, directly under her and I am burying him on Tuesday. I wish you all the best and we have lost a great leader. Many blessings

My deepest sympathy to the Bridgeforth family. She was a friend and neighbor. She was a classy lady, with style, poised, poised, composed and relax.. Whenever, I caught the bus, she was always outside doing something to her porch. She was a Community Activist for the Sixth District. She should have ran for City Council. I will miss her. God bless her.

To my friend Deborah and her family; I offer my deepest sympathy for the lost of such a wonderful, loving and kind black woman, Ms. Lucille.
Of course I have lots of memories of times I stayed at your home when always she treated me as one of her daughters. She will surely be missed. Sorry I can't be there but know I have you all in my heart and prayers. Robin Bell Jennings, Fairburn GA
