Dear John, Fletcher and I knew just how close you were to your sister. The lost that you feel must be unbearable because the two of you depended greatly on one another for strength throughout your lives. Only through your blesses gift of music can you touch that part of you that connected you with your sister. So pick up your guitar and play in remembrance of her. May God Bless you and give you the strength you need to do those things you must do in her absence. But know, she is watching right along with your mother.
Always, Roxie Fletcher and Dotcom

To The Jackson and Smith families, I was so sorry and shocked to hear about your loss. I met Moni when she sang with The Big Time Band. I had never heard anyone with such a strong and beautiful voice. The last time I heard her singing was at my mother's homegoing. When she finished there was not a dry eye in the church. There was something magical about her voice. God wanted her for His special choir. Rest in peace Moni and my prayers go out to you and your family.

To The Jackson and Smith Family, I was deeply hurt and saddened to learn of Monicas passing. I have been reflecting on how she would sing at my jazz bar and I would just enjoy her angelic voice. I would often request songs for her to sing and she could sing what ever I requested. Beautiful on the outside, beautiful on the inside! I will miss her greatly! My prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Rest in peace Monica.

Monica knew me as her friend, "Cookie" as we lived side-by-side in Fairfield Court. Funny I'm recalling our being bride maids in her mother's wedding. Monica taught me how to sing "Jesus Loves Me"; however, noone could sing it the way she did. She was a beautiful person.I was deeply sadden to hear that my precious childhood friend had departed this life. Although it had been years since we had seen each other some people leave a life impression and she definitely was one of those people. My sincerest prayers to the Jackson-Smith family.

To the Family,

I am in awe at the loss of our dear Monica. All I see is her beautiful face and gorgeous smile. As a young girl I can remember Monica stopping by the house talking to my Mom and just checking in on the family and my sister Shirley. I can only imagine the grief you are feeling during this time, and I am praying the God will take you in his arms and overshadow you with peace and comfort. Monica was there for my wedding in 2000 and most recently she graced us with a song at my Mom's homegoing service in Nov of last year. Her gracefulness and warmth will be missed and I will pray for the love and comfort of God to overtake the family during this time.

With love the Family of Eloise Monroe
