Loved looking through your photo gallery. I wish I had known Bob. It seems like just yesterday we were speaking at Third's retreat together and it was around that time you became concerned about Bob's health. Was that 2 years ago? What a long and difficult journey. I'm so sorry that you've lost such a devoted and wonderful husband and father. Praying for peace for you all.

My dear Ledford family...I just am reading the obit for Bob after Angie sent me the link. I AM SO SAD! What a WONDERFUL man, father, husband, employer he was. I enjoyed every minute of working with him. He never would let me load any of the paitings, knick-knacks, samples, etc. that he was always loading into that huge Cadillac trunk to take to a bank somewhere. I just got to do the fun stuff in the office. Having lost my father just over a year ago, I know how you all will grieve. When someone is loved as much as I know you all loved Bob, it's a terrible void to fill. Please know I am thinking about you all--I wish I could be there to give each of you a big, big hug.

Joye, our hearts go out to you and the family in this time of grief. We were saddened to learn of Bob's illness and suffering and now his passing. It was a pleasure to work with him at AF&F; always the gentleman and professional. As a devoted Christian we know he must be in the presence of our Lord Jesus; may that thought help give you comfort. Bob & Fran Isner, Christiansburg, VA.

Dear Joye and Family
I vividly remember the fun times we had
together in the past. Bob had a unique
sense of humor so well meshed with mine, that we could keep ourselves (and
others) laughing for days. And I will
deeply miss having those days no more
on this earth. But I know that one day
in the future, he and I will be laughing together again, and keeping
the angels entertained. Yes, just know
that we will all be together again in a
glorious place filled with heavenly joy
and a peace not found on this earth.
May God enfold you and yours with His
Love, surround you with his Light, and
bring you Peace in the coming days.

Dear Joye, Angie & Family,

What a priviledge to have known Bob as a customer and also as a dear christian friend since 1967. Bob was one of my first accounts and we have been through lots. My brother with ALS passed away September 1st and I am so sad! Thank you and Bob for your prayers for him just the week of both their deaths. Thank you Joye for being the wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend you are. May God bless and give you comfort and peace.

Joye, Angie, Sam & Barbara,
Our hearts are heavy in knowing that this amazing man will not be here to share so much; but, how blessed we are in having known and loved him. I know he is at peace and in the arms of Jesus. We love all of you. God Bless!

I was so distressed to hear about your husband and my friend. I always enjoyed talking and helping him. I remember putting the collar around his neck to help hold his head up so he could see and help him eat better. I will always remember the excitment in his voice and the look on your face because he was so happy. If I can do anything at all please don't hesitate to let me know I have retired from Westbury. Thinking of you and your family. Duane Kirkland (741-3327)
