ROBERT RASH Obituary

RASH, Robert Lindsay, 71, of Richmond, passed away December 14, 2009. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Carolyn Rash of Blackstone, Va. He is survived by his wife, Lois June Rash; his daughter, Carolyn L. Rash; his brother, David W. Rash and wife, Rita; nephew, James Robert Rash; and first cousin, Mary Jane H. Alvis. He is also survived by his five sisters-in-law, Wanda L. Green, Nora M. Beutel, Dorthy L. Spickard, Jane Yeager, Diane Mantia; and one brother-in-law, George Spickard. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 17, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad Street, also where a funeral service will be conducted Friday, December 18, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund or the Tuckahoe Rescue Squad.

Our heart and prayers are with the family at this sad time. We didn't know him well but whenever he was walking he always threw up his hand and had great things to say.
