Sandra Lee Conway

CONWAY, Sandra Lee, 66, of Montross, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond. Mrs. Conway was a native of Richmond and a former resident of Fredericksburg. After moving to Westmoreland County she worked for over 14 years as the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation for Westmoreland County. Mrs. Conway enjoyed crafting, reading, shopping and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of almost 50 years, Bennie Lee Conway Jr.; two daughters, Wendy Lee Conway Fletcher and her husband, Jimmy and Sandy Lee Conway Winkler and her husband, Bill, all of Spotsylvania; her son, Bennie Lee Conway III and his wife, Karen Niland-Conway, of Colonial Beach; two granddaughters, Stacy Lee Fletcher and McKenzie Lee Conway; her sister, Virginia L. Cecil of Mechanicsville; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Conway is also survived by her faithful four-legged companion, Precious. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carlton B. Tinsley and Marshall L. Tinsley. A service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, October 29, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
