Scott McDougle Obituary

McDOUGLE, Scott K. Jr., 86, of Mechanicsville, died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at his home. Mr. McDougle served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He owned a private detective agency for over 30 years and was a self-employed farmer. He was very devoted to the Sisters of the Visitation, Rockville, Va. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Rita Crane McDougle. He is survived by his lifelong friend, John Sheffield; a cousin, Jean Ford; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. The family will receive friends at his home on Monday from 2 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 300 N. Sheppard St., Richmond, Va. 23221. Entombment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
