Viola Withers

WITHERS, Viola Wingate, 84, of Mollusk, died November 20, 2009. She was the widow of Frederick Council Withers Sr., and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Lively. Mrs. Withers was the retired postmaster of Mollusk with 38 years of service. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila W. and Larry Erickson of Vancouver, Washington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frederick C. Jr. and Donna Withers of Harrisonburg, Gregory and Diane Withers of Mollusk; five grandchildren, Brett and Miles Withers, Chase Withers, Leslie Coleman and Meghan Erickson; two stepgranddaughters, four stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund or Bethel United Methodist Women, P.O. Box 118, Lively, Va. 22507.
