CANSLER, Mrs. Virginia Marie, 50, of Farmville, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010, at her residence. She was born October 19, 1959, in Norfolk, Virginia. She was a daughter of the late George Taylor Robinette and Peggy M. Whittaker Robinette. She is survived by her loving companion of 16 years, Ray Tharpe of Farmville; her sisters, Debra Thorpe (Charles) of Richmond and Lois Robinette of Powhatan; a close family friend, Pam Spotts; her niece and nephew, Jennifer Shook (Paul) and Chasteen Neal (Megan) and their children; and a special puppy, Le Le. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2010, 2 p.m. at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 75 Maiden Lane, Suite 603, New York, N.Y. 10038. Puckett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
