Daniel Kuchinski Obituary

Daniel Kuchinski, 78, of Dupont, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010, at the Heritage House, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Dupont, he was a son of the late John and Mary Fela Kuchinski. A graduate of Dupont High School, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he was employed at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Theresa Casper, and brothers, Eugene and Robert Kuchinski. He is survived by his son Richard Sr., Dupont; grandson, Richard Jr., Dupont; as well as brothers, Edwin Kuchinski, Taylor, and David Kuchinski, Florida. The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home, 134 Church St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Dupont. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Dupont. Viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
