Vivian Rhoades Obituary

Vivian L. Rhoades, 80, of Nolen Rd., Roslyn, Montgomery County, died Monday, June 14, 2010, in Warminster.
She was a registered nurse who before retiring worked at the Abington Dialysis Center. Prior to that she was employed as a pediatric staff nurse at Methodist Hospital, Philadelphia, and before that was employed by Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she was the supervisor for 29 years.
Born in Grier City, she was a daughter of the late George L. and Grace V. (Luckenbill) Rhoades.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She was a 1947 graduate of Tamaqua High School and also graduated from Mt. Sinai Nursing School, Philadelphia.
Surviving is a brother, James Rhoades, and his wife, Patricia, of Oley, Berks County; sisters, Diane, wife of Angelo Romano, of Mount Holy Springs, Cumberland County, and Marilyn Titus, of Still Creek; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews.
Service: Private at the convenience of the family. The Zizlemann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, is in charge of arrangements. Online guest registry: www.zrgfuneralhomes.com.
