Veronica and family,I am so sorry to hear about Chick. I just learned of the news this evening otherwise I would have been there for the services. Chick was one heck of a guy. I remember him always bringing you to bowling and sitting there the whole night with us ladies and was always being so witty and such a gentleman taking care of you.
No matter where I ran into him at he was always the friendliest a fella could be.
I worked quite a few years at The Hour Glass Inn here in Genoa and it was always a pleasure to see his smiling face come for his glass of lemonade.
Chick will surely be missed by so may.
You and all your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of Chick's passing. We always looked forward to his visits to us in the license bureau in Oak Harbor. Loved his stories and conversations. Have thought of him often and wondered how he was enjoying his retirement. These posts sound like he enjoyed it to the end. I would expect nothing less. He was a joy to be around.

Dave and family,
So sorry to hear about your dad. It was always great to talk to Chick about the car days stories along with his great sport stories. I'll miss him coming into the dealership and hanging around.
