ROSE EISENSTEIN Obituary

Rose Bernice Eisenstein EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP Rose Bernice Eisenstein passed away on July 2, 2016. The daughter of Louis and Lillian Senoff, Rose grew up in Trenton, NJ, alongside her two brothers, Herbert and Samuel Senoff. A graduate of Trenton High School and Chatham Women's College of Pennsylvania, she fell in love with her best friend, Mark Eisenstein. Married for 57 years, Rose and Mark raised three children, David, Daniel, and Steven Eisenstein. Rose relished her 80 years of life. She was outspoken, and kept things simple; she was a loving woman of valor. She was deeply involved in synagogue activities. Rose brought the same dedication and hard work to her job as a teacher and librarian in the Lawrenceville and Trenton school systems. Rose loved books and reading to children. She considered her sons, David, Daniel, and Steven, to be her finest accomplishments, and her greatest love and dedication in life was her husband, Mark. She is also survived by her brother, Samuel Senoff; her sons, Daniel Eisenstein and Steven Eisenstein; her daughter-in-law, Rory Eisenstein; her granddaughters, Dana Eisenstein, Erica Eisenstein, Hannah Eisenstein, and Sarah Eisenstein; and her grandsons, Erik Eisenstein, Teddy Eisenstein, Samuel Eisenstein, and Yeshaya Eisenstein. Funeral services and burial are on Tuesday at 12 noon at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, 545 Eggerts Crossing Rd., Ewing Township, NJ. Funeral arrangements by Orland's Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Rd., Ewing Township. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you support your favorite charity or local synagogue. Dearest Mark, Danny and Stevie,

What can I say. Rose was such a special person. She was like another mother to me. Kind and giving. I loved her dearly and will miss her beautiful smile. She will always have a special place in my heart. Hugs and kisses to you all.

To Mark,and family, Sammy:
The stars in the sky dimmed over the Glen Afton neighborhood the moment Rose Bernice closed her eyes; I can't believe that just yesterday Sunday I thought of her, and was about to inquire of Herb Speigel how you all were doing. Those of you who knew our families, know that we were more than friends, or employees. Rose's Uncle Arthur who lived with them would send me to spend the day or extended visit to the house on Abernathy Dr. where Herbie and I would explore the environs, and Rose Bernice would keep us laughing with her imagination. What a tragic loss! She gave so much and expected so little in return. It has been many years, and miles since we last spoke, probably Herbie's funeral. However the memory of my little shana Madle (sp) with her gift for making everything good and fun, will always be imbued in my memory. I share you loss, and send my deepest sympathy. Medical conditions prevent me from driving north for the services.
I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely

Mickey

I'll miss Rose. Outspoken, warm, smart and a good friend. Years would go by without seeing her but a chance meeting would produce reminiscing and hugs. I knew her from junior high and high school and as Lawrenceville neighbors. My condolences to Mark and the family.
