Asa Keep Obituary

Asa D. Keep September 13, 1931- May 10, 2011 Born in Red Bluff, CA, Asa was the youngest of 11 children. Asa was raised in Lorane, OR, and graduated from Lorane High School. He then spent 4 years serving in the United States Navy, where he met his beloved wife Jacqueline. The couple moved to Seattle, WA shortly after they were married, and Asa went to work for the Boeing Company in 1953 and retired in 1991. Asa was an avid fisherman and excellent golfer. Asa is survived by his wife Jacqueline Ward Keep, sons Kim (Laurie) Keep of Burien, WA and Mark Keep of Billings, MT, daughter Brenda (Chuck) Burks of Oklahoma City, OK, brother Jerry Keep of Springfield OR, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011, at 4:00 pm, at Marlatt Funeral Home, 713 Central Ave. N, Kent, WA 98032, with viewing at 3pm. Remembrances may be made to Franciscan Hospice, Tacoma, WA.
