Juanita Ratliff

Juanita Ratliff CHILHOWIE, Va. Mrs. Juanita Ratliff, age 59, passed away Monday, Dece. 27, 2010, in a Kingsport, Tenn. hospital. Born Dec. 20, 1951 in Buchanan County, Va., she was a daughter of Elsie Bond Stiltner of Page, Va. She was a 1970 graduate of Garden High School and had an associate's degree in secretarial studies from Southwest Virginia Community College. She was currently employed as a library assistant at Emory and Henry College and was a member of Harvest Time Holiness Church in Abingdon, Va. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jerry Ratliff of the home; two sons, Jeffery Wayne Ratliff and wife, Tanya, of Page, and Glenn Russell Ratliff and wife, Deborah, of Chilhowie; five grandchildren, Nathaniel Micah Ratliff, Jonathan Noah Ratliff, Zachary Jonah Ratliff, Hannah Ellen Ratliff, and Dara Elisabeth Ratliff; three sisters, Ilene Ratliff and Bell Ann Stiltner, both of Page, and Patricia Matney of Asheboro, N.C.; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Va., with the Rev. John Godbey and the Rev. Eddie Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the Street Cemetery at Rowe, Va. Pallbearers will be the men of Harvest Time Holiness Church and her nephews.
