Kenneth Junior Amyx BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. Kenneth Junior Amyx, 65, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Harvey and Bonnie Jane Shaw Amyx; a granddaughter, Taylor Whitney; brother, Fred Amyx; and two sister, Elsie Short and Lucille Worley. Survivors include his wife, Sheri Amyx; a daughter, Terri Davis and husband, Jerry of Bristol Virginia; four sisters, Betty Doran, Bonnie Thomas, Ruth Amyx and Evelyn Price; three grandchildren, Skylar, Chelsey, Morgan; one great-grandchild, Madison Grace " Chunka Monkey"; brother-in-law, Allen Fennell and wife Kristi and their daughter, Savannah; special niece, Sandy Burton; and several other nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at Akard Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date at Price Family Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Cotter and a host of his friends. The family will receive friends from 5 6 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Sherri and Terri, I am truly sorry for the loss of Ken,I have such fond memories of Ken,SheepDog and my dad at the lake ,playing card or just aggrivating each other.I will truly cherrish those memories!If there is anything that you all may need please let me know.God Bless!!!

Sheri, Terri and girls, I know words cannot express the sorrow and pain you are feeling at this time. I only knew Ken for a short period of time but really liked him.
