I am so sorry for the loss of a very sweet person! I fondly remember Jack as a very sweet and pleasant person, one who loved his family dearly. Please know that I pray that his memories will comfort you throughout the ensuing days. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I wasn't able to come but wanted to send my condolences. I wanted to let you know also that I had my children read the article about Jack that was in the newspaper about his purple heart, so they would know that he was a hero. My daddy had already told them the story...he was very proud of him and loved him very much.
