George Dzik Obituary

Dzik, George A. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather Age 82. Passed away peacefully while fishing with his son, on June 1, 2007. Proud WWII Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by son, Jerry; and grandson, Scott Raasch. Survived by wife of sixty years, Tina; daughter, Kathy (Dave) Raasch; sons, Tony (Jean) and Jim (Joy); daughter-in-law, Martha Dzik; grandchildren, Mike, Tina, Jessica, Sarah, Greg, Megan and Tony; nine great grandchildren; brother, John (Eileen); sister, Annie (Harold) Blechinger; sisters-in-law, Emily & Evelyn Dzik and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11AM at ST. STANISLAUS CATHOLIC CHURCH (398 Superior). Visitation Tuesday 4-8PM at KESSLER & MAGUIRE FUNERAL HOME 640 W. 7th St. 651-224-2341. Visitation also 1 hr prior to mass at church. Int. Ft. Snelling. Lifelong resident of West 7th St. Avid duck hunter and fisherman. I miss my best friend and lover ~ your loving wife Tina. Memorials preferred.

Tina & Family, We have many fond memories of George. I think God needed a gardener, as we loved the vegies he produced.We spent many hours togethor helping his brother Tony & Evelyn with their moves.
