URBANA - Robert Bodey, 67, went to his eternal rest on April 10, 2016. He was the youngest son of the late Leona and Margaret (Waldron) Bodey. He was born September 21, 1948 in Urbana, Ohio. Robert was a 1967 graduate of Urbana High School and was a self-employed contractor. He spent every summer mowing lawns and every winter removing snow. He enjoyed auto work when he was younger, as well as wood working, gardening, cooking and baking. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his youngest daughter, Christine Robin Joann McHorris; 3 sisters, Velma (Louise) Ralph Jernigan, Patricia (Roy) Brown and Pauline Bodey; 1 brother, Lowell (Dickey) Bodey. Robert leaves his wife of 30 years Pamela (Brammer) Bodey; 3 daughters, Kimberly (Anthony) Hoffer of Christiansburg VA., Kendra (David) Espich of Cable, Ohio and Michelle (Jason) Bartholomew of Watertown, NY; 1 brother, Clarence (Barbara) Bodey; 12 grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Jami Hoffer, Lindsay (Kevin) Hundley, Robin and Robert Espich, Bradley and Michael Clickner, Tre and JayLynn Cahill, Kenzie and Skyler Brayton; 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; many friends. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana with Pastor David Gammello officiating. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, Southwest Region Office, 2808 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45206. We are so sorry to hear about Bob and his passing. He was a wonderful man. He had a very humorous personality and a very good friend to my husband (Jerry) and me. RIP you will be missed very much.
